What You Will Do

GrandBridge Energy is looking for a co-op student to join our Engineering & Continuous Improvement Teams. This full-time role will report to our Brantford office daily, with the potential for some remote work based on role requirements. 4-month co-op term (January - April 2026) with the possibility of extension.

Major Job Duties Include

  • Setting up assemblies in the new Quadra software by reviewing and transferring existing framing standards
  • Facilitating severance / variance application reviews and basic site plan reviews
  • Provide administration support to Supervisor, Engineering Services on third party attachment projects and prepare cost estimates in Quadra.
  • Provide general project support on misc. projects such as pole changes, insulator replacements, etc.
  • Provide assistance as required in preparation of clear accurate maps and drawings using AutoCAD
  • Conduct site visits with the engineering staff to gather existing data on GrandBridge Energy distribution assets
  • Assist Engineering Technician or Design Technologist with residential and industrial designs, estimates and service layouts
  • Meet with customers to review design requirements and upcoming construction projects
  • Perform administration duties including (but not limited to) scanning of Engineering documents, updating excel spreadsheets, updating municipal requests and recording meeting minutes
  • Provide administrative assistance to Supervisor with small and large distributed generation projects

What You Will Bring

  • Enrollment in an engineering co-op program at a post-secondary institution, with preference provided to those with a background in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in single/three phase systems and strong attention to detail is required
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products
  • Valid class G license in good standing is also required with flexibility to work in an office setting as well as field work.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can make a significant contribution to our organization and the community.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

20.52 - 22.32 CAD per hour(Savannah Oaks )
