NACG are seeking an Intermediate Maintenance Yardperson to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area. This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region. For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to $44.74/hour as well as room for growth!

Where You’ll Be Working
- Site Kearl Shop
- Schedule 14 x 14, 12 hour days (paid for 12 hours). Days/Nights.
- Accommodations Camp is provided.
- Transportation Flights provided to/from Edmonton or Calgary. Bussing is provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts).
- Overtime There is no overtime, instead there is a blended rate.

- Perform general maintenance, cleanup, and organizational duties within work areas (ie. roadways, clear snow, address potholes, water, etc.)
- Assist technicians with job setup/tear-down
- Assist technicians with assembly and testing when required (under direct supervision)
- Gather/deliver parts and components to assist job process
- Segregate waste and ensure proper storage of all controlled products in work areas
- Minimum 6 months previous experience in a shop/field heavy equipment maintenance environment
- Experience with GET (Ground Engagment Tools)
- Must have previous experience operating skid-steer, zoom boom and/or forklift
- Must hold a valid Class 5 License and have previous light duty vehicle experience on Oil Sands sites
- WHIMIS, TDG, Waste Segregation training, and Class 3 w/air endorsement are assets
If you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role, you will be asked to provide the following
- Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to provide a recent Driver’s Abstract
- Valid CSO or BSO (Energy Safety Canada)
- Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness (Energy Safety Canada)
- Be subject to Random Testing at Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
- Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing
- Breath Alcohol Test
- Urine Drug Test
- Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment
- Audiometric Testing
- Vision Screening
- Criminal Record Check
- Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
- An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
- After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.
