POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Assistant provides essential clerical and administrative support to the HR department. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong organizational and communication skills, even without formal HR training. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of HR services by managing documentation, scheduling, and employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary certificate or diploma in office administration is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in an office setting required. Experience in Human Resources and/or a school board is considered an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (ie. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid Class G Drivers License required & willingness to travel.
