Job Description
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Sr. HR Systems and Time Analyst to be based at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the rollout and ongoing optimization of the organization’s time and attendance system, as well as broader HR and IT modernization initiatives. The incumbent will ensure HR policies and knowledge articles remain current and accessible, supporting a shift toward employee and manager self-service.

- Project Support & Data-Driven Insights Contribute to project planning, timelines, and deliverables for HR system and process implementations. Leverage data to monitor participation, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Workforce Management & Timekeeping Coordination Serve as a liaison with site leaders and timekeepers across all locations to support workforce management and timekeeping activities. Ensure consistent execution of processes aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
- Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement Support change management initiatives during system implementations and process transformations, particularly in areas such as workforce management, position management, and data governance. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess impacts, develop communication strategies, and promote user adoption.
- Job Documentation & Compliance Partner with regional HR teams to review and update job descriptions in response to technology-driven role changes. Ensure documentation supports compliance with federal pay equity legislation and accurately reflects operational responsibilities. Maintain a centralized repository of job descriptions and collaborate with Corporate Compensation to ensure accurate job evaluations and grading.
- HR Audits & Operational Efficiency Contribute to HR audits, risk assessments, and modernization projects. Identify opportunities to streamline HR operations and enhance system integration. Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Policy & Knowledge Management Own the development and maintenance of HR knowledge articles, procedures, and policies. Ensure centralized access, consistent updates, and alignment with a self-service model for employees and managers. Maintain version control and documentation standards to support compliance and operational readiness.
- Education Required: University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in system implementation, HR systems, or continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of HR systems and data
- Experience in continuous improvement or system implementation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on timely precise results
- Familiarity with change management principles and project coordination
- Knowledge of federal pay equity legislation and job documentation standards
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
