Job Description

Summary of Job Functions:

Assist in setting up and operating various CNC machines Collaborate with the Maintenance Technician to support preventive maintenance for CNC machines. Support experienced machinists in troubleshooting machine issues and learning maintenance procedures. Engage in continuous learning to develop skills in machining processes and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventive maintenance on various CNC machines, under guidance of Maintenance Technician . Operate 3 and 4 axis CNC machines under supervision of more senior team members. Maintain machinery and equipment in safe working condition. Follow all safety and environmental regulations and practices.Engage in continuous learning to enhance machining skills and machine maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 education.

Some experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred but not required.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a high-technology environment.

Additional Desired Qualifications

Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Working Conditions

Interest in learning about lean manufacturing and AS9100 requirements.

This position may require standing for extended periods.

Regular exposure to machinery and tools in a manufacturing environment.

Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
