Position Overview: Compugen is seeking a IT Sysntem Administrator for a 1 year contract working on site.

Position Overview: Compugen is seeking a IT Sysntem Administrator for a 1 year contract working on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implements operating system enhancements to improve reliability, security, and performance.
- Schedules and oversees software installations and upgrades to operating systems.
- Ensures data and media recoverability by establishing backup schedules and database archive operations that comply with industry best practices and records management policies.
- Contributes to the management of Azure-based cloud services and platforms.
- Ensures custom applications and scripts developed to meet specific technical requirements are effectively implemented.
- Navigates Intune Device Management (MDM).
- Contributes to the architecture, development and administration of SharePoint.
- Implements M365 services with on-premises infrastructure and ensures seamless end-user adoption through training and documentation.
- Accredited 2 to 3-year Information Technology Certificate or Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in supporting a computer networking environment, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, or equivalent.
- Experience in creating, managing, and maintaining a diverse computer networking environment, including troubleshooting a Microsoft Active Directory environment.
- Proven customer service skills with high standards of quality and a strong desire to support internal users.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, applications, and computer hardware/software.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networks, VPN, wireless technologies, and network printers.
- Competence in troubleshooting various types of computers, scanners, printers, copiers, and other computing peripherals.
- Experience with:
- Supporting and administering a Microsoft 365 (M365) cloud environment, including user and license management, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, security configuration within the M365 admin center, and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
- Resolving email, collaboration, and access issues
- Managing and operating Azure resources.
- Managing and supporting mobile devices.
- Understanding of virtualization environments.
- Maintaining Microsoft server operating systems and applications, including MS-based tools (e.g., MS Exchange, SQL Server, IIS).
- Understanding of common backup strategies and operating backup management systems (e.g., Veeam, Exagrid).
- Understanding of disk imaging technologies and deployment processes (e.g., MDT, Sysprep).
- Understanding of cloud computing services, technologies, and platforms.
- Desire to continuously learn and stay updated with new technologies and industry best practices.
