JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will work with leaders and their teams to drive HR excellence in alignment with Bayshore’s values, culture, and specific business objectives. The HRBP will be responsible to respond to leader inquires and provide guidance in accordance with provincial/ municipal legislation and Bayshore policies. In this role, you will also be responsible to identify, strategize and execute solutions in achieving company and departmental objectives.
- Partner with senior leaders and their leadership team to understand their business operations
- Working closely with cross functional teams to collaborate on HR initiatives and implementation on new and existing process improvements.
- Review and analyze business metrics including but not limited to, retention, productivity, safety, culture and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements.
- Recommend HR strategies to foster HR excellence and consistency to deliver the most value to the division’s operations.
- Integrate and share HR best practices across division while also seeking innovative HR solutions to ensure the highest return on investment in alignment with Bayshore’s culture and values.
- Participates in promoting and enforcing health and safety initiatives and legislation within the divisions.
- Coach, mentor and empower division’s management and HR representatives to resolve complex employee relations concerns, including disciplinary action and terminations in alignment with legislative requirements of that province.
- Act as the specialist Lead for National HR programs/projects as assigned.
- Establish a collaborative working relationship with leadership and human resources representatives in order to be seen as a key contact in advising on human resources aspects as required.
- Prepare managers, supervisors and human resources representatives to address and resolve employee issues by recommending, developing and conducting training programs, reviewing proposed decisions and actions to ensure consistency and fairness in application.
- Adhere to, educate the division on, and make recommendations to enhance policies and current practices.
- As the organization puts in place new national programs, support change at the local level, devise change management and communication strategies to ensure the change is as seamless as possible.
- Implement national HR strategies to meet our mandate of being a “Great Place to Work” while keeping in mind local need.
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.

Qualifications: Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ Years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines
- Completed post-secondary education preferably in Business
- CHRP Designation preferred
- Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset
- Experience working in a unionized and non-unionized environment
- Knowledge of the HealthCare sector would be an asset
- Ability to consult, impact and influence at senior levels
- Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written, presentation preparation and delivery, and facilitation)
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working on highly confidential and sensitive business matters with executive leaders.
- Exceptional judgment and ability to solve problems that often may set precedent
- Ability to learn/adapt/be resilient in a high growth business environment
- Good relationship management capability and skill at collaborating
- Proven, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness developing HR Strategies
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively with all levels of the organization
- Be a team player with the ability to manage multiple projects/multi-sites
Travel: Must be flexible to travel within Canada on short notice. Travel for this position is at minimum 30%. Candidate must be available to work the intial three months on site.
