What We’re Looking For

• 3rd year student in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering program.
• Students interested in mechanical design
• Students returning to school full-time at the completion of this intern placement
• Available for an 8 month term starting in January 2026
  
  

What You'll Do

• Participate in development of cutting-edge electromechanical products
• Create mechanical designs and formal documentation
• Perform or support mechanical verification testing
• Support prototype and lab product assembly
• Maintain and enhance the mechanical lab and online mech environment
• Contribute to the overall success of the Mechanical Team

• An enthusiastic interest in mechanical design across a variety of fields
• Proactivity, motivation, attention to detail
• Flexibility with ability to multi-task and learn
• Organized and efficient working habits
• Excel in a team or self-directed working environment
• Excellent communication (oral and written English)
  
  

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You

• Previous Mechanical Design work experience.
• Understanding of plastic injection molding, sheet metal, and die casting design concepts
• Experience with 3D CAD Tools (SolidWorks, CREO, Inventor/Fusion, or similar)
• Understanding of heat transfer, structural analysis and FEA/CFD simulation (SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, or similar)
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electromechanical assembly
• We can see that you have a love for project-based work and staying at the top of your technical gam
