About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on and people-focused HR Generalist to support the employee lifecycle by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality HR services. This role partners closely with business leaders, employees, and global HRBPs to execute HR programs, ensure compliance, and enhance employee experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation sessions to ensure a seamless and engaging start for new employees.
Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate onboarding logistics and continuously improve the process for efficiency and impact.
In-Office Employee Experience
Act as the in-office HR presence and culture ambassador — welcoming new hires, supporting team needs, and maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
Coordinate in-office logistics and employee experience activities (e.g., team events, celebrations, engagement touchpoints, office operations).
Partner with HRBP to support engagement, recognition, and communication initiatives that strengthen team connection and well-being.
Foster a warm, inclusive, and professional workplace culture through everyday interactions and initiatives.
HR Program & Operations Support
Partner with business leaders and global HRBPs to execute HR programs and initiatives aligned with business objectives, ensuring consistency and compliance across regions.
Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Support HR process improvements, policy updates, and system enhancements to drive efficiency and improve employee experience.
Employee Relations & Performance Support
Manage employee relations cases in partnership with HRBPs, including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Provide guidance to managers on performance management, documentation, and disciplinary actions under HRBP supervision.
Compensation, Benefits & Leave Administration
Administer and advise on compensation, benefits, and leave of absence programs, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee changes and transactions related to pay, benefits, and time off.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in HR operations, generalist, or employee experience roles.
Strong working knowledge of HR processes and employment regulations in BC Canada (US is nice to have).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Rippling, Lattice or similar) and basic HR reporting skills preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range: CA$70K - CA$110K
