The Inventory & Procurement Coordinator supports the day-to-day management of site-level materials and assists with basic procurement and administrative processes. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking deliveries and material movement, following up on discrepancies, and supporting purchasing of small parts, consumables, and site materials.


The role also provides administrative support within the SAP system and related procurement tools — including creation of purchase requisitions, goods receipts, and basic data entry — ensuring transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal processes.

Working closely with the site teams, and the Procurement department, this position helps improve visibility, control, and efficiency in the flow of materials across all sites, while demonstrating IREN’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.


Job requirements

Required:

    • 2–4 years of experience in materials coordination, inventory, or procurement support.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
    • Strong administrative and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Excel and basic data entry systems.
    • Strong communication and coordination skills across teams and vendors.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic site environment.

Preferred:

    • Experience in construction, utilities, or industrial project environments.
    • Understanding of basic procure-to-pay processes.
    • Experience supporting or troubleshooting simple SAP transactions (requisitions, goods receipts, etc.).
    • Interest in developing a career in supply chain or procurement operations.

Job responsibilities

Inventory Coordination & Recordkeeping

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all materials received, issued, and transferred between sites.
    • Verify packing slips and purchase orders to confirm quantities and specifications.
    • Report and follow up on discrepancies, damages, or missing materials with suppliers and Procurement.
    • Support cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
    • Help ensure materials are stored, labeled, and tracked properly in coordination with the Warehouse Attendant.

Warehouse & Site Support

    • Work closely with the Warehouse Attendant to ensure all goods are logged and documented.
    • Monitor stock levels of consumables and critical materials; proactively flag low-stock situations.
    • Assist with internal transfers or shipment coordination between project sites.
    • Maintain clear documentation and organization of site-level storage areas.

Procurement Support & Administration

    • Assist in creating purchase requisitions, goods receipts, and service entry sheets within SAP.
    • Support procurement documentation requirements — including attaching approvals, quotes, or supporting files.
    • Help process small part and consumable orders for site teams.
    • Obtain quotes from approved suppliers and track order status.
    • Follow up on deliveries and liaise with suppliers on minor order or invoice issues.
    • Maintain accurate tracking logs and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.

System & Process Support

    • Support SAP data accuracy through proper entry and updates of materials and requisitions.
    • Assist in identifying and resolving common SAP issues for site users in coordination with the Procurement or AP teams.
    • Contribute to the implementation of new inventory management tools or reporting templates.
    • Provide feedback and suggest improvements to inventory and procurement workflows.
