Description:

The Business Intelligence Developer will Create the underlying structure for data analysis; Design, develop, and deploy scalable dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau; Develop, maintain, and automate strategic and operational reports aligned with enterprise priorities, KPIs, and strategic frameworks (e.g., Balanced Scorecard, OGSM, OKRs); Apply data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data accuracy and reliability in reporting; Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Python to integrate and prepare data from multiple systems (e.g., ERP, EMR, HRIS); Collaborate with data scientists and advanced analytics teams to embed predictive models or machine learning outputs into operational dashboards. This position Engages cross-functional teams to gather reporting needs and offer BI consultation; Understands data warehousing principles and SQL for data manipulation; Translates complex business requirements into technical specifications for data models, metrics, and KPIs; Visualizes trends and variances in performance indicators related to patient care, resource utilization, workforce performance, financial metrics, and safety outcomes; Supports the development and enforcement of data governance policies, including metadata management, access controls, and data stewardship protocols; Ensures secure, accurate, and timely integration of structured and unstructured data sources into the enterprise data warehouse or data lake; Recommends enhancements in BI architecture, new tool adoption, or automation opportunities to improve efficiency and analytical capability; Provides training and coaching to business users to improve adoption of BI tools and promote data literacy across the organization.     Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in data warehousing and business intelligence development.

    Additional Required Qualifications:

    Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Strong understanding of metadata management and data quality processes. Advanced skills in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Commitment to data ethics, security, and confidentiality standards.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Certification in BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist) is highly desirable. Proven track record working with large datasets, relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle), and ETL workflows. Healthcare industry experience or knowledge of healthcare data. Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Fabric, or Snowflake.
