What Youll Do
- Support and maintain applications: Provide day-to-day technical and application support for clinical systems.
- Train and assist users: Deliver hands-on training and support for radiologists and staff.
- Resolve issues efficiently: Partner with the helpdesk and IT team to troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems.
- Improve workflows: Model and document clinical and technical workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Enhance applications: Participate in upgrade and enhancement projects gathering requirements, coordinating testing, and supporting implementation.
- Apply IT best practices: Contribute to ITIL processes (Problem, Change, Release, Security, and Asset Management).
- Protect data: Ensure compliance with all privacy, confidentiality, and security policies.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with Mirth Connect, HL7, DICOM, and JavaScript is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems or previous experience in a radiology/healthcare setting is a strong asset.
- Background in Application Support, Business Analysis, Training, or Helpdesk roles is an advantage.
- A Diploma or Certificate in Medical Diagnostic Healthcare Informatics is a plus.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Analytical and proactive you enjoy diagnosing and solving problems.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects independently.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
