The GardaWorld Winnipeg Branch is looking for its next Temporary Full-Time Receptionist & Administrative Support team member. As the first point of contact for all employees and visitors, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while supporting day-to-day administrative operations.
This is a temporary role until January 15, 2025 (possible extension).

What’s In It For You
- Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
- $18.00 per hour

- Greet and assist all visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
- Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
- Maintain visitor access and office security procedures (logbooks, screening, and authorization checks).
- Keep internal directories and distribution lists updated.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
- Maintain organized and accurate employee filing systems.
- Order and maintain office supplies and stationery.
- Support uniform management — ordering, tracking, and outfitting security staff.
- Ensure the reception and entry areas remain clean and organized.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and document sorting.
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned by the branch management team.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced receptionist or administrative role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office software.
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move uniforms or supplies as needed.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
