Our client in the Toronto- Mississauga area is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing organization on a full-time, contract basis. The successful candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments and work collaboratively with others.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complex bank and credit card reconciliations
- Posting of Journal Entries and working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
- Tracking of costs and fixed assets
- Assist in the production of Financial Statements, maintaining balance sheets and monitoring cash flow
- Assisting with Month End closing including, but not limited to, reconciling balance sheet and revenue accounts, variance analysis, and preparing adjusting entries
- Preparing reporting as needed
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations as well as following company policy & procedures
- Provide support on similar duties to support the success of the organization
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles- completed post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Previous experience with ERPs (SAP a strong asset)
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, including advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize accordingly to effectively manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills (English essential)
