  • Enrolled in a formal University or college Internship program
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

Activities

  • Collect, consolidate and manipulate data from SAP Business Objects and internal data warehouse applications
  • Analyze and present large volumes of data in Excel for management decision-making
  • Perform data maintenance duties in SAP ERP system
  • Prepare spend reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Analyze trends in commodity spends, lead times and suppliers
  • Complete time sensitive ad-hoc requests for multiple managers while balancing monthly and quarterly tasks
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments on projects and troubleshooting issues
  • Identify favourable prices and terms on purchases for parts

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Experience: No Formal Experience Required.

Education: Currently enrolled in a University or College internship program and have completed their 3rd year of studies. This role is ideal for students who are enrolled in a Business, Supply Chain or Data Analytics program.
