How you’ll make an impact
Essential to the business by driving high production output, the machine operator in our Wound Core and Amorphous departments ensure operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality products on time to meet customer expectations.
Please note this role is a contract role to start and is on the continental rotating shift (11-12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights)

Job Responsibilities
- Set up machine according to work order and operating procedures
- Ensure product meets quality requirements as per work order, operating procedures and customers’ specifications. Diligently inspect product and document
- Basic troubleshooting of machine and process flow
- Read work orders and understand all measurements
- Follow priority schedule and achieve production requirements
- Be fluent in measuring devices
- Safely operate equipment follow ALL safety requirements
- Keep workstation clean and organized
- Work collaboratively with incoming/outgoing shifts
- Contract role to start with potential to become a full-time permanent role
- This role is on the continental rotation shift
- 1 year minimum Manufacturing experience is a requirement
- Strong measuring skills using tape measurers, vernier calipers, and micrometers is an asset
- Mechanically inclined with a strong focus on safety
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized
- Basic computer skills
- Exceptional attendance
- Able to follow instructions and procedures
- Respect for your fellow team members
