Position Summary:
The Associate Channel Marketing Manager manages the go-to-market strategies and execution for their specific channel(s) of business. This role will use knowledge of the brand, buying process, products, pricing and Customers/Channels to develop and execute channel strategies that grow brand equity and sales. The incumbent of this role should be familiar with selling strategies, understanding customer objectives, merchandising, promotions and category management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing plans by customer to support the sales managers’ goals and objectives.

  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with key customer accounts and work directly with their marketing counterparts to implement marketing plans that meet the customers’ and Oatey’s needs.

  • Develop and implement quarterly and annual marketing and demand generation strategies in partnership with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams to drive growth that exceeds market performance.

  • Support new product launch efforts and drive commercialization process including marketing collateral, communication strategy, training tools and related activities.

  • Work closely with customers to align marketing strategies and tactics such as merchandising, email campaigns, and promotions, while managing customer communications and mailing lists through HubSpot.

  • Support the sales team with presentation content, customer specific events and marketing program needs.

  • Create and analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.

  • Monitor and analyze program and campaign performance, including pre- and post-program reviews, to measure ROI, track progress against goals, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Track competitive channel marketing programs, market and channel trends and adjust channel strategies accordingly.

  • Coordinate industry tradeshows from booking space/decor, handling logistics and coordinating booth contents, working with internal and external teams to execute on event.

  • Able to travel domestically up to 30%.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in channel, brand, product/category management, and/or sales.

  • Proven ability to design and execute innovative, strategic programs and campaigns.

  • Track record of meeting objectives on time and within budget.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; detail-oriented, motivated, and proactive.

  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, dynamic team environments.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
