Are you interested in working cross-functionally with executives, project teams, and external legal counsel to mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and contribute to business decision-making? As the first point of contact for legal and contract matters, this is a proactive and detail-oriented legal position for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Supporting board & committee meetings, corporate filings and registry updates
  • Keep our contracts sharp, organized, and risk-proof.
  • Help steer privacy, compliance, and regulatory best practices.
  • Liaise with senior leadership, legal counsel, and project teams to keep us on track and above board.
  • Coordinate with corporate insurance programs including renewals and claims management.

  • Collaborate with brokers, insurers, and internal teams on risk assessments and incident response.
  • Lead the contract lifecycle process: negotiation, execution, renewals, and tracking obligations.
  • Manage legal and contracts inboxes, ensuring timely triage and resolution.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in a paralegal/legal admin role.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate governance, contracts, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of excellent communication, organization and critical thinking skills, along with project-juggling skills.
  • Experience with tools like SEDAR, TSX Linx, or CORES.
  • Registration with AAPP or Governance Professionals of Canada is a plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Work with a high-performing, collaborative team that values transparency and innovation.
  • Direct impact on strategic decisions and corporate integrity.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

If you're a proactive, detail-oriented legal professional ready to step into a strategic role, we’d love to hear from you. Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their qualifications and interest in the role. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
