The Opportunity

TC Energy is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Airdrie, AB to support our efforts in Energy Problem Solving and our daily operations.

We are seeking students enrolled in Diploma of Trades specializing in Electrician, Instrumentation or Mechanic/Millwright or Engineering Technologist Programs (Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering Technology), or related programs to support our Willow Creek Area Operations team in maintaining critical energy infrastructure to deliver the energy North America needs.

We engage our students in the very core of our operations. As a valued member of the team, you’ll do exciting, challenging work, solve real world problems, and make a meaningful impact. You’ll learn about the business and build your professional network by working closely with other skilled people at TC Energy. Every day will enhance your knowledge, skills and passion for what you do.

The term length is 4 months.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a Diploma of Trades specializing in Electrician, Instrumentation or Mechanic/Millwright or Engineering Technologist Programs (Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering Technology) or related degree program with at least one semester of education completed
  • Enrollment at an accredited Polytechnic, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term
  • Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
  • Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives
