Your Opportunity: Description: As a Driver I, you will transport a range of products including, but not limited to, mail, packages, medical supplies, equipment, food and linen, in accordance with AHS standards, regulations and policies. Working independently, you must adhere to scheduled routes, as well as ad hoc requests, in a safe and courteous manner. You will be expected to perform a series of routine duties such as logging mileage, cleaning vehicles, performing pre and post vehicle inspections and reporting defects and malfunctions to management

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence. Completion of valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate Additional Required Qualifications: Ability to manually lift and maneuver up to 50lbs with no assistance. Able to safely lift, walk, stand, push and pull throughout the day. Ability to navigate rural roads and use GPS as necessary. Full Class 5 Driver's License. Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication is required. Customer service experience. Previous experience operating box trucks. Available for on-call shifts as required (no set hours). Comfortable driving in all weather conditions in Central Alberta Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GeoTab or other manual and electronic logbooks. Experience with Manual and electric material handling equipment.
