What You’ll Need

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
• Valid BC license to practice optometry
• Kind, caring demeanor, strong work ethic and good availability.

Exposure: Our practice is approximately 75% medical-based, serving patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric with a wide variety of cases. You will be performing comprehensive eye exams and refractions, medical eye and disease management, contact lens fittings, working with patients ranging from 0 to over 100 and opportunities to practice in outreach trips to remote Indigenous communities (optional).

Support: You will be joining a team of 3 ODs, with strong support from technicians, front desk staff, a dispensary manager, and a dedicated vision therapist in our vision therapy clinic. Our pretesters handle all preliminary testing so you can focus on patient care.

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time – Flexible schedule options

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (optional, we respect if you prefer not to work Saturdays) Patient volume averages 14–20 per day (2–3 per hour), allowing you time to connect with each patient.
