About the role:

We’re looking for a proactive and safety-minded Class 1 Truck Driver to join our Edmonton Shipping Team (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm)! At Great Little Box Company, our drivers are home every night—no overnight trips required. This is a hybrid role: you’ll spend part of your time driving and part supporting our warehouse team with loading/unloading and forklift operations.

This is a growing team, and the position has the potential to evolve into a full-time driving role as we expand. If you enjoy variety in your day and want to grow with us, this role is for you!

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $24.00/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor/trailer to deliver products on time and in excellent condition
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift (training provided if needed)
  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately and ensure proper customer sign-offs
  • Provide exceptional customer service with every delivery
  • Maintain daily vehicle logs and follow scheduled maintenance requirements
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required
  • Follow all safety procedures and company driving standards
  • Work both independently and as part of a collaborative shipping team

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • A team player with a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to perform minor truck repairs is an asset
