The City of Beaumont is seeking a Recruitment Advisor who brings strong relationship-building skills, a passion for connecting great people to meaningful work, and the ability to coach and partner with leaders to meet the City’s diverse hiring needs.

What YOU’RE Responsible for

As the Recruitment Advisor, you’ll play a key role in shaping Beaumont’s workforce by leading full-cycle recruitment across a range of departments and roles — from seasonal and front-line positions to technical and professional staff. You’ll ensure an engaging, consistent, and values-based hiring process that supports operational readiness and a positive candidate experience.

Recruitment & Talent Attraction

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Lead proactive recruitment activities to meet operational and seasonal workforce demands.
  • Coordinate recruitment timelines and advertising strategies to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant hiring.

Coaching & Collaboration

  • Coach hiring leaders on best practices in recruitment, interviewing, and selection to promote fairness, consistency, and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and the broader People Services team to align recruitment with workforce planning and organizational priorities.
  • Provide regular updates, reporting, and insights to support data-informed decision-making.

Candidate & Employee Experience

  • Champion an engaging, professional, and inclusive candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Support onboarding touchpoints to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
  • Gather and share feedback from candidates and leaders to continuously improve processes and enhance Beaumont’s reputation as an employer of choice.

Advisory & Compliance

  • Provide expert advice to leaders on recruitment policies, directives, and applicable legislation.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment standards and organizational guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity within the applicant tracking system.

What YOU Bring

  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitments with professionalism, tact, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted partnerships with leaders at all levels.
  • A passion for creating efficient, transparent, and engaging recruitment experiences.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical and collaborative solutions.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and fairness in every stage of the hiring process.
  • Experience using MS Officer 365 Applications and Applicant Tracking Systems.

Education: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume or multi-sector environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle recruitment independently, coaching and advising hiring leaders.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and social recruitment tools is considered an asset.
