Organizational Change Management (OCM) with Prosci at W3Global
Date: 5 hours ago
City: Calgary, AB
Contract type: Contractor
Must: OCM, Prosci, change management
Key Responsibilities
Draft/publish updates for project stakeholders and impacted end users across email, intranet, Teams, town halls.
Produce end-user content: release notes, "what's new" posts, quick-start guides, short screen-capture videos.
Write cutover/outage notices with clear impact windows, downtime steps, and fallback actions.
Support execution of the program's Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy, including activity tracking, logistics, communications, and feedback loops.
Collaborate with OCM team and vendor teams to co-develop deliverables (e.g., stakeholder maps, change impacts, training logistics) and propose improvements based on previous experience.
Adapt and build upon provided materials (e.g., comms drafts, training slides, talking points) to ensure they meet audience needs.
Own the coordination of deliverables such as training schedules, content review cycles, change champion activity tracking, and readiness survey follow-up.
Engage with stakeholders, especially as the user base expands, to ensure alignment on messaging and training logistics.
Observe and surface people-readiness risks early, including soft signs of disengagement or confusion and suggest how to address them.
Ensure change impact assessments and stakeholder tracking tools remain current as the program progresses.
Review and refine communications, bringing knowledge of tone, clarity, and usability, not just grammar checks.
Participate in planning and stand-ups, bringing a voice and contributing beyond what's assigned.
Qualifications
Experience supporting OCM in large IT implementations or tool consolidation efforts (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc. a plus).
Proven ability to operate in a support role that still requires independent thinking and contribution.
Experience translating abstract guidance or sample content into fit-for-purpose deliverables.
Confident working in ambiguous, evolving environments with minimal structure.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including early-stage stakeholder analysis.
Working knowledge of change management frameworks and how to apply them flexibly-not rigidly.
