About You / What We Are Looking For
We are currently recruiting a Leader in Water Construction to join our Public Works team as a Working Foreman Water Construction (Working Foreman – Water). Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Worker, you will provide supervisory support for the team, leading various small scale and large scale projects that require personnel to adapt and be willing to take on daily challenges.
Successful applicants will have considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, tools, and equipment used in the water construction and be aware of Water Utility best practices in operation, maintenance and repair. You will also possess the ability to plan, assign, review and supervise the work of a crew engaged in the construction, inspection, service, maintenance, operation and repair of water utilities.
Minimum QualificationsRequirements include completion of a E.O.C.P. Level I Operator’s Certificate, Water Distribution with considerable related experience including sound supervisory experience OR and equivalent combination of training and experience. A Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement for the Province of British Columbia is required.
What We Offer:This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $40.73 - $43.34. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills
