Fundraising & Stewardship Lead - Volunteer at Canadian Cancer Society

Role Details As a community engagement leadership volunteer, you will be part of our committees of 10 to 15 volunteers who will work over the months to help us organize our fundraising events. This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025
As the volunteer Fundraising & Stewardship Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a Fundraising & Stewardship strategy to increase revenue.
• Organizing volunteer-led fundraising event(s) in support of the CIBC Run for the Cure.
• Managing your local CIBC Run for the Cure email account.
• Recognizing and stewarding key supporters through meaningful touchpoints.
• Identifying local storytellers.

Must be 18+ to apply and complete the Canadian Cancer Society code of conduct Our Investment JOIN US and be part of the larger Run community and have the opportunity to learn and mentor as you engage with CCS staff and volunteers Your commitment

• This is a 6-month commitment (May through October).
• Attending local committee meetings (generally bi-weekly to monthly).
• Independent role work/responsibilities (approx. 6-8 hours per month).
• Must be available over the event weekend (October 4 & October 5).
