A Day In The Life
The successful candidate will act in a support role across various practice groups in our Vancouver and Surrey offices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be collaborative, professional, adaptable and is someone who cares about the quality of their work.
This is a full-time on site position and occasional pre-authorized overtime may be required to meet client needs. This role reports to the Manager of Legal Support Services.

Compensation
The typical salary range for this position is $48,000 - $55,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Conduct conflict searches and file openings/closings
- Create routine documents and correspondence using firm templates
- Coordinate scan, print, and copy jobs
- Submit expense reports and third-party invoices
- Prepare cheque requests and deposit forms
- Assemble courier and mail packages
- Assist with preparation of closing books and court binders
- Front desk reception duties, including greeting clients/couriers, showing visitors to meeting rooms, answering general phone line and re-directing email inquiries
- Provide administrative overflow support
- Other duties as required
- Completion of a post-secondary Legal Administrative Assistant program
- Preference for an applicant with previous work experience in a law firm environment
- New graduates are encouraged to apply with a recognized certification
- In-depth understanding of business and legal terminology
- Superior computer and typing skills; proficiency in MS Office 365, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Pro, iManage, Chrome River, etc.
