The Opportunity
The Unitizer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Unitizer equipment to ensure the quality of finished goods units and to ensure units are centered, strapped and stabilized for loading and storage.
Rotational Shifts: (Day, Afternoon, Nights)- 7am to 3 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm, 11 pm to 7 am

The Opportunity
The Unitizer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Unitizer equipment to ensure the quality of finished goods units and to ensure units are centered, strapped and stabilized for loading and storage.
Rotational Shifts: (Day, Afternoon, Nights)- 7am to 3 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm, 11 pm to 7 am
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for safety and efficient set up and operation of the Unitizer and ensuring the main production line is cleared and optimized
- Working safety and in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures and OHS legislation; wear prescribed PPE and report all hazards to supervision
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and work instructions
- Verify quality of all finished units in the Warehouse inspecting for any non-conformances and ensure product meets customer specification
- Ensure all finished units are centered by the centering device, strapped and secured for loading and maximum stability
- Insert top sheets on all units and sample cartons when required by customer specifications
- Monitor the main production line and affix load tags with customer and manufacturing information on all units
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and following food safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Back up for the position is Converting Assistant
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or related experience and/or training
- Valid Forklift certificate, or willingness to receive Forklift training
- Able to perform the physical demands of the position are a prerequisite
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a prerequisite
