The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide support as a Special Order Coordinator within the Customer Relations Branch until November 20, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
This position is required to work on-site, reporting to the Manager, Specialty Products.
The Special-Order Coordinator is responsible for working with numerous external groups; national and international suppliers and agents; several national supply warehouses and internal SLGA business areas in order to provide timely special-order service to our Retail Store Permittees.

Core office hours are 8:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday. The majority of the work day is spent sitting at a desk keyboarding. The Special Order Coordinator must demonstrate their commitment to safety by consistently ensuring the well-being of themselves and others in the workplace.

- Research and source special order products for customers.
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with external and internal customers, including suppliers, agents, Retail Store Permittees, and private wine clubs.
- Create and issue liquor sales orders.
- Amend as required sales and purchase order quantity and pricing of products.
- Monitoring outgoing orders to ensure the Distribution Centre has successfully received and processed customers’ orders.
- Handle inquiries and complaints and resolve issues both verbally and through emails.
- Creation of new products into the system along with pricing and sourcing points.
- Amending or updating of items in the system as required.
- Knowledge of beverage alcohol products in order to provide information to customers.
- Knowledge of pricing in order to accurately estimate and calculate retail pricing on special orders.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and the ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs (excel, word, outlook).
- Ability to input, edit, retrieve, maintain, and format data using computer software accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to deescalate irate customers using excellent communications skills.
