Who are we?
This permanent full-time position will work out of the Calgary office and focuses on business development both existing and new, maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting our innovative product lines. This will be an Outside/Inside Sales Position with approximately 60% of the time required to travel throughout the territory and 40% of the time to do follow-up calls and develop business by phone, email etc. out of the Calgary office. The ideal candidate will have experience in Decorative Panels, Hardwood and Softwood Plywood, Lumber and Value-added Wood Programs to a wide variety of retail lumberyards and building centres.
Reporting to: Sales Manager, Retail Panel Distribution- ON

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:
Sales & Business Development
- Promote sales to our retail lumber yards, flooring stores and design centre partners.
- Focus on new business development while also managing and retaining existing customer relationships.
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Effectively manage the assigned sales territory to ensure maximum sales growth and productivity.
- Develop and implement territory action plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- College or University degree in marketing or a related field, combined with relevant experience would be an asset.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position as an asset.
- Experience in sales to retail Market and our target markets to be an asset.
- General knowledge of Retail Building Materials and experience with product lines.
- Experience in business development with strong skills to canvass new opportunities.
- The individual shall possess strong personal and organizational skills.
- Must be highly motivated and can work independently.
- The individual should also have strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (specific to Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word).
