Access to reliable personal transportation is required as some of the possible work sites do not have access to public transportation. This position is a relief position which can be scheduled at either of the two locations: Sherwood Park Athabasca and Synergy Wellness Centre. Four full shifts scheduled between 0600-1915h Mon-Friday each week based on operational needs. This position works every third Saturday and Sunday at Sherwood Park Athabasca between the hours of 0700-1515h.

Description:

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.

Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.

At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience. ECG experience.
