Marketing Analyst at Phoenix
Date: 6 hours ago
City: Toronto, ON
Contract type: Full time
We’re looking for a Marketing Analyst who turns numbers into narrative—and insights into impact.
At Phoenix, data isn’t just dashboards. It’s how we learn, grow, and make smarter decisions to help Canadians access care more easily. You’ll be the analytical backbone of our marketing team—translating performance metrics into strategy, uncovering trends in customer behaviour, and finding new ways to optimize how we reach and retain patients.
You’ll partner closely with growth, product, and operations to shape campaigns that don’t just perform, but push the mission forward—making telehealth simple, accessible, and stigma-free.
What You’ll Do
Thank you for your interest in joining the Phoenix team! While we are lucky to attract a high level of interest in each of our roles, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Growth and Creative team, leading with data-backed insights that drive strategy and decision-making.
- Support the development of advanced measurement frameworks and campaign attribution models that connect media performance to real business outcomes.
- Own end-to-end analytics for digital paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, partnerships), ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
- Identify optimization opportunities across channels to improve conversion rates, CAC, and LTV.
- Conduct post-campaign deep dives and deliver insights that shape future campaign strategies.
- Manage marketing performance dashboards and build new reports that combine data from multiple platforms (GA4, Meta, Google Ads, CRM).
- Ensure data integrity across tagging, tracking, and attribution systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve tracking, tagging, and data capture.
- Segment and analyze first-party data to identify high-value audiences and behaviours that inform creative and targeting strategy.
- Support CRM-based audience builds for paid targeting and retargeting efforts.
- Translate behavioural trends into actionable recommendations that improve customer experience and retention.
- Support A/B testing frameworks across channels to guide optimization and creative iteration.
- Help develop methodologies for measuring impact beyond last-click attribution.
- Stay ahead of privacy and measurement trends (GA4, cookie deprecation, consent frameworks).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing or media analytics, preferably in tech, healthcare, or e-commerce.
- Deep understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including paid search, paid social, and programmatic platforms.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Looker Studio / Tableau.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and combining data across multiple sources.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (Braze, Klaviyo, or similar).
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking, multi-touch attribution, and customer funnel analytics.
- Exceptional communication skills — able to transform complex analyses into compelling narratives.
- Meticulous attention to detail, paired with the ability to think strategically and act with urgency.
- Impact & autonomy. You’ll work directly with passionate, experienced leaders who understand the ups-and-downs of the business and you'll have a real opportunity to shape the future at Phoenix
- Rewarding Mission. We're delivering the best healthcare experience to Canadians across the country
- Collaborative Culture. We are a growing elite team in Downtown Toronto. We love the tight feedback loop of working together in the office. If you've missed that in-person office experience, and love sharing strongly held opinions of the best lunch spot nearby, this is the role for you
