As a Branch Manager, You Will Be

  • Responsible for supporting the business of Parts & Service sales to customers
  • Managing Parts & Service sales and ensuring profit margin targets are met
  • Identifying issues and work with co-workers to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Providing training and support for all Parts & Service technicians and supervisors
  • Ensuring that parts inventory levels meet customer demand and service levels meets customer expectations
  • Managing branch personnel performance, safety, training and customer service
  • Working with customers, suppliers and co-workers to fulfill service orders and inquiries with service and cost expectations

Management Scope And Budget Responsibilities

  • Budget: Provides budget input; manages total branch budget
  • Leadership / Supervision: Managing one work group of Parts & Service branch personnel; may direct and control 2 or more work groups of Parts & Service branch groups
  • Environment: Office environment; shop or open environment exposed to noise

Education And Experience

  • College diploma / Post secondary Education
  • 3-5 years related experience in service, parts, supply chain or product support operations
  • Experience working with budgets, analyzing budgets and developing targets

Knowledge And Skills

  • Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Is good at establishing clear directions; sets stretching objectives; distributes the workload appropriately; lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner; maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear communicator.
  • Clearly and comfortably delegates both routine and important tasks and decisions; broadly shares both responsibility and accountability; tends to rust people to perform; lets direct reports finish their work.
  • Ability to work with limited confidential data (pricing lists, customer lists, quotes)
