Description

Vena Solutions is looking for a Customer Enablement Instructional Designer (internally called an Instructional Designer) to join our Customer Training team. The ideal candidate will create and maintain eLearning of Vena’s technical product training content to drive the success of our clients through enabling them to understand our platform via an outstanding learning experience. This role will work in partnership with the team’s other Instructional Designers, Training Specialists and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the on-going design, development and maintenance of current and future training programs for Vena Customers, Partners and the extended finance community.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Design, develop and maintain best-in-class learner-centric eLearning content on the Vena Solutions product using best practices in instructional design and incorporating relevant business and process context to promote product mastery.
  • Work cross-functionally with other Instructional Designers, key stakeholders and SMEs from other teams to assess learning needs and create appropriate learning solutions for the customer learning journey that supports Customer Training KPIs and our content roadmap.
  • Utilize the ADDIE framework to create eLearning content that promotes learner engagement and retention.In partnership with the Manager, Customer Training and/or Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, assess and implement feedback on eLearning assets to maintain the effectiveness of learning content and improve Customer Training KPIs.
  • Ensure ongoing usability of Vena Academy (our Learning Management System, LMS) by working with the LMS Administrator to upload, troubleshoot and complete user acceptance testing of online courses and course assessments.
  • Stay up to date with Vena product, industry and technological advancements that influence the ways finance professionals interact within the Vena Ecosystem.

We'd Love to See

  • 2+ years as an Instructional Designer demonstrating skills in creating engaging learning content while applying instructional design best practices.
  • Understanding and application of key design concepts such as ADDIE (Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating), Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Accessibility standards within eLearning content.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technology in a clear, concise and effective manner for a wide range of audiences.
  • Proficient with Instructional Design technology such as video editing suites (Camtasia), graphic design (Adobe), Articulate RISE & MS Office.
  • A motivated self-starter with an ability to work independently within team projects.
  • Demonstrates precision in creating, reviewing and editing instructional content.
  • Eagerness to learn, proven ability to quickly adapt and learn new software programs.
  • Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies
