Under the direction of the Manager position - Alberta, the Cancellations Agent - Alberta is responsible for answering a high volume of calls (about 20 per day) and e-mails (about 40 per day) from customers and dealerships and provide information regarding the cancellation requirements and eligibility of insurance and mechanical breakdown policies/contracts. Logging information on calls received and maintain detailed and accurate records. Providing cancellation refund quotes to customers and dealerships.

Essential Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of calls and emails from customers and dealerships, providing information on the termination of various products, including insurance, mechanical breakdown, GAP, and replacement insurance.
- Log all calls and maintain detailed, accurate records.
- Provide cancellation refund quotes to customers and dealerships.
- Verify incoming cancellation documents to ensure all required information is included.
- Contact customers or dealerships to request any missing documentation.
- Process cancellation requests and ensure refunds are issued accurately.
- Issue requests for stop payments on cheques and request cheque reissuance for stale dates or loan payouts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Highschool Diploma is required.
- Certificate/Diploma in Administration/ Business/ Insurance is an asset.
- Minimum of 1-2 years in an administrative position, preferably in the insurance or banking industry, is required.
- Call center experience is preferred and considered an asset.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) are required.
- Fluent in both English and French with proven skills in verbal and written communication is required.
- Ability to work a rotational Saturday/Statutory holiday is required.
- Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, education verification, and employment reference checks is required before employment.
