The Senior Tax & Advisory Manager leads the tax and advisory function, overseeing departmental strategy, operations, and performance. Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership
- Provide strategic direction for the tax and advisory department.
- Ensure departmental goals support the broader firm strategy.
- Supervise the Accounting Manager and team, ensuring top-quality work aligned with regulatory and internal standards.
- Partner with senior leadership on performance evaluations and professional growth.
- Champion the use of EOS tools and track/report departmental progress.
- Perform spot checks and quality reviews on department deliverables.
- Establish and maintain strong quality control processes to uphold firm standards.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and COO to ensure departmental service delivery meets firm goals.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation.
- Apply EOS methodologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with key clients.
- Provide strategic guidance and address high-level client concerns.
- Ensure exceptional client service across the department.
- Mentor Tax & Advisory Leads and their teams.
- Identify training needs and create development opportunities to enhance departmental capabilities.
- Manage department budgeting in alignment with firm financial objectives.
- Partner with Tax & Advisory Leads to review engagement budgets and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with Operations to refine pricing and service models for competitiveness and departmental sustainability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of accounting experience, with significant focus on advisory and management.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing senior professionals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working with EOS is an asset.
- CPA designation preferred.

- Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 per year

- Bachelor's degree (required)
