The Role

Responsible for the domestic services function within hospital and community premises through the effective deployment of staff resources to ensure effective cleaning methods, the control of infection and the promotion of a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

• Previous experience as a domestic within a preferred Public Sector environment

• Domestic Supervisors Training Programme (provided internally)
• Elementary Food Hygiene (provided internally)
• First Line Management (provided as personal development)
• BICSc qualification in healthcare
• Qualified to ILM Standard

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in PSSD department within Hamilton Locality - this post will cover Blantyre HC/Kirklands HQ/Kylepark.

The working pattern for this role: Mon-Fri 4pm to 8pm
