Admitting/Booking Clerk at The Ottawa Hospital

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts (08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00)

Basic Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Six (6) months recent clerical experience;
• Successful completition of TOH medical terminology self-directed learning program or certification in medical terminology from a recognized educational institute;
• Data Entry (4000 k.p.h.);
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
  
  
  

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.

Please Note

If there are no qualified candidates who have 6 months recent clerical experience, candidates who are enrolled or have graduated with a diploma or degree from a college or university and meet all other qualifications will then be considered.
