Civil Site Representative at CBCL Limited
Date: 9 hours ago
City: Halifax, NS
Contract type: Full time
At CBCL, we are a dynamic and growing engineering and environmental consulting firm with an exciting opportunity for a Civil Site Representative to join our Municipal team in Nova Scotia!
Bring your technical expertise and passion for fieldwork to a collaborative team that takes pride in designing and delivering essential municipal infrastructure projects. You’ll play a hands-on role in advancing projects that strengthen and sustain our communities — from shoreline protection and stormwater systems to water and sewer extensions, road reconstruction, and site development.
As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in phases of project delivery from design to construction. You will collect field data during design such as topographic survey, flow measurements in rivers or stormwaters, and prepare preliminary base plans of existing conditions. During construction you will ensure quality and compliance through detailed site observation. You’ll visit project locations across the province, monitoring progress, verifying adherence to design specifications, and supporting safe work practices. In addition to field activities, you’ll contribute to topographic surveys that inform studies, designs, and quantity estimates, and prepare accurate site plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, technologists, and construction professionals who value teamwork, technical excellence, and a strong commitment to safety.
