Our IT Department is looking to welcome an IT Service Desk Co-op to our Vancouver-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands on experience related to your field of study, develop your IT professional skills, network with people in your industry of interest, and explore career paths in IT, all while earning your academic credit! This Co-op will begin January 2026 and we are open to 4 or 8 months.

What you will do:

  • Open, monitor, dispatch and resolve IT tickets.
  • Answer and resolve first level inquiries regarding software and hardware, copiers, phone system, and mobile devices via phone, email or by our IT Services Portal.
  • Gather necessary information to resolve and/or facilitate resolution of a wide range of IT issues.
  • Liaise with IT team members and departments on application and system issues.
  • Document actions and solutions within IT tickets and update the technical details within operational procedures.
  • Ensure all IT ticket incidents and requests are entered in reporting/ticketing system.
  • Engage appropriate resources in the resolution of incidents/requests.
  • Provides IT ticket status updates to customers and management.
  • Set up and manage user accounts in network ensuring appropriate access and security.

What you have:

  • Actively pursuing a post-secondary education in an IT related focus (e.g., Computer Sciences).
  • Knowledge of basic IT terminology.
  • Proven ability to follow instruction and process flows.
  • Able to lift and carry IT hardware.
  • Openness to learning and trying new things.
