Your Opportunity: The Team Coordinator, Parking Services performs a leadership role in Parking Services and reports directly to the Zone Manager, Parking Services or to the Director, Protective & Parking Services, depending on the Manager’s specific role. This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, team leadership and organization over the activities of Parking Services in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The position is responsible and accountable for making sector-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of Parking Services. The Team Coordinator, Parking Services will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. The Team Coordinator, Parking Services is also responsible for one or more of the following areas: Delivery and day-to-day operational oversight of parking services within the assigned portfolio. Delivery and oversight of parking enforcement services within the assigned portfolio. Under the direction of the Zone Manager, Parking Operations or the Director, Protective & Parking Services, development of provincial policies and standards for the Parking Services portfolio. Required Qualifications: A minimum of Grade 12 diploma. Post secondary education in a business-related field would be an asset. A minimum of 3 years in a front-line management or supervisory role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (parking-related experience an asset). A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Additional Required Qualifications: Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners Preferred Qualifications: As Required.
