Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Construction Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate cost assessments, proposals, and budgets for various construction projects. The Estimator will play a key role in analyzing project requirements, reviewing plans and specifications, and providing detailed cost estimates that support profitable and competitive bids.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of construction methods, excellent mathematical skills, and experience with cost-estimating software. This is a long-term opportunity with room for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine scope of work
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Develop detailed bid proposals and budgets for residential, commercial, or industrial projects
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and competitiveness
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality and compliance with standards
• Maintain an organized database of historical costs, pricing, and project records
• Monitor market trends in materials, labor, and equipment to provide updated pricing insights
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Construction Estimator (residential, commercial, or industrial)
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry practices
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for subcontractor and client interactions
• Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting deadlines
  
  

Technical Requirements:

• Reliable computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM (minimum)
• Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps (wired connection preferred)
• Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
• Working Webcam
