Job Overview

The Partner Manager will own the ongoing success and growth of our strategic Shopify partnership — driving adoption, revenue impact, and joint customer value through deep account management and cross-functional execution. This role focuses on maximizing the performance of our existing platform partnership through proactive relationship management, co-selling initiatives, and data-driven growth strategies. You will act as the connective tissue between Klaviyo and Shopify, ensuring the partnership is strategically aligned, operationally excellent, and delivering measurable impact to both businesses and our shared customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Account Management & Growth
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for Shopify, managing day-to-day communication, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Develop and execute joint growth plans to increase adoption, retention, and revenue from Shopify-connected merchants.
  • Proactively identify and drive co-marketing, co-selling, and product adoption initiatives that expand the reach and impact of the partnership.
  • Own partner performance metrics and ensure ongoing alignment with both organizations’ commercial and customer goals.
  • Strategic Relationship Development
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Shopify (e.g., product, partnerships, sales, marketing) to ensure shared priorities are aligned and executed.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, representing Klaviyo’s vision and identifying new ways to create value through joint initiatives and integration innovation.
  • Anticipate risks, manage conflicts, and maintain long-term partner satisfaction through transparent and proactive engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement & Execution
  • Collaborate closely with internal product, sales, marketing, and support teams to deliver on partner initiatives and maintain seamless operational execution.
  • Advocate internally for partner and customer needs, ensuring the Shopify integration and go-to-market experience continuously improves.
  • Coordinate enablement efforts for internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on partner-driven campaigns, feature adoption, and customer engagement.
  • Revenue Impact & Commercial Strategy
  • Develop strategies that translate partnership collaboration into tangible revenue outcomes — including customer acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Partner with GTM teams to build scalable co-selling motions and joint campaigns that drive pipeline growth.
  • Track and report on revenue contribution, product adoption, and partner-driven deal influence.
  • Insights & Optimization
  • Monitor key KPIs and leverage data to optimize the partnership’s commercial and customer impact. Analyze performance trends and competitive insights to identify new growth opportunities and areas for investment.
  • Regularly present results and recommendations to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years experience in partner management, account management, or business development within SaaS, eCommerce, or platform ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, eCommerce technology stack, and merchant behavior.
  • Proven track record of growing platform or channel partnerships through account management and joint GTM execution.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external executives.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and measure success. Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a bias for action and accountability.
