- Drive initiatives to support employee engagement, culture, and retention.
- Create and maintain performance management and career progression frameworks that foster growth and accountability.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Oversee benefits, compliance, and workplace policies, ensuring consistency across companies.
- Organize team events, professional development opportunities, and recognition programs.
- Track and analyze people metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or related roles in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proven experience building or scaling HR processes in a high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations.
- Exceptional communication, team motivation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in fast-paced settings.
- Comfort working across multiple industries and being proactive to address diverse team needs.
- Passion for fostering a humble, ambitious, and high-performance workplace culture.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., Collage, BambooHR, or similar).
- Previous experience supporting multiple business units or companies.
- CHRP or other HR certification.
- Experience with background security screening (e.g. Canada Controlled Goods Program).
Workplace Benefits
- Competitive salary and health benefits package.
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact across three innovative companies.
- A dynamic, collaborative workplace with a diverse team.
- Professional development support, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
- Team events, social gatherings, and a vibrant office culture.
