Position Title: Admissions Associate
Our focus at Brookes Westshore School is to work in a respectful, professional and collaborative manner, seeking solutions to problems, building community and nurturing the talents and skills of all staff. Brookes has a small community of staff that support one another. We seek staff who are passionate about working with young people and encouraging them to become responsible, caring and thoughtful young adults.
We are currently seeking an organized and friendly individual to support the Director of Admissions. Someone who is passionate about supporting students of all ages and backgrounds and fostering positive relationships with diverse families.
The Admissions Associate plays a key role in welcoming prospective students and families to the Brookes Community. This position provides administrative support for the admissions process from initial inquiry through to enrollment and works closely with the Director of Admissions.
Position Details
- Start Date: January 5,2026 with training days in December prior to start date
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm with potential to increase hours dependent on the needs of the school (scheduled days could change periodically given events at the school such as orientation)
- The schedule during the summer months could change as school will not be in session.
- During Winter and Spring break working hours are not scheduled as school is not in session
- Wage: $30.00 an hour
- Eligibility for participation in our employee and employer paid Extended Health and Benefit package after a 3-month waiting period.
- Lunch meal provided on campus as a taxable meal benefit

Duties
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective students, families and agents
- Schedule campus tours, interviews and admissions meetings
- Support prospective families through the admissions process with professionalism
- Manage and update admissions databases and files
- Process applications and maintain accurate student records
- Prepare correspondence and assist with enrolment documentations
- Support admission events such as orientation, agent tours/meetings
- Weekly meetings/check ins with the Director of Admissions
- Other duties which may come up from time to time
The ideal candidate has the following:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Education or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative or admissions experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Fluent in other languages an asset
- Experience working in a busy or school environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
- MyEd, ManageBac, Open Apply an asset
- ESL experience an asset
