Working from our customer location at 1929 Ogilvie Road, Gloucester, Ottawa

Work as part of a team by providing Project Management Specialist for the site. You will own and manage all site variations ensuring capital projects get completed on time and on budget with the proper level of required documentation also booking OPEX and Lifecycle and creating plans that can be followed short and long term. Documentation such as detailed estimates, schedules, close out documents and drawings to ensure accuracy and to keep key stake holders up to date. You will help provide professional project management services, projects that involve renovating and maintaining the building, systems, equipment, and life cycle activities while meeting the needs of the building occupants and Honeywell project management requirements.

Provide expertise on assigned projects concerning design, construction, development, or installation of buildings and facilities. Able to update and maintain documentation on site such as drawings, commissioning reports, and safety audits. Understanding financials and being able to forecast accordingly and quote work will be a key requirement of this role.

Drive continuous improvements throughout the site location in support of Honeywell Facilities and Honeywell Operating System related activities. Be part of a team that creates an inclusive, effective and clean work environment for others.

Be eligible to obtain and maintain Top Secret SIGNET clearance as well as CGP clearance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project management
  • Building Asset Management
  • Manage and develop site project coordinators
  • Follow directions and provide assistance to PMO
  • Deliver forecasting
  • Develop project plans (Microsoft Project or equivalent)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project
  • Drive and follow all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Work directly with client and subcontractors
  • Quote all types of site variations
  • Report on Job status and relay information to required parties
  • Update documentation
  • Drive invoicing and following up with vendors for invoicing
  • Retain and maintain all records and reports
  • Work with the Client to determine deliverables and retrieve customer acceptance.
  • Work with booking team and provide all relevant information
  • Lead on-site project coordinators
  • Complete at least two Honeywell Safety Observations (SOS) per month
  • Complete all assigned Honeywell trainings by the requested due dates
  • Support annual reporting requirements and procedure submissions
  • Able to work off hours and overtime when required
  • Able to prioritize and put in extra hours to meet deadlines
  • Support Honeywell tasks during emergency incidents

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • College diploma
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Able to obtain Top Secret Signet clearance as well as CGP clearance

  • Experience working with skilled trades and understanding of trade disciplines is an asset
  • Experience working in complicated logistics environments and high-security facilities is an asset
