We are looking for a Content Developer

What you will do:

As a Content Developer, you will act as the senior document resource supporting technical and supervisory staff across administration regions and departments. You will lead complex document drafting, governance, and production efforts, and serve as a subject matter expert on product interpretation, compliance, and legislative impacts.

In collaboration with the Group Products and Legal departments, you will develop standardized wording for use in group insurance documents and maintain content libraries to ensure consistent and accessible language for document analysts. When working within the ACE system, you will also create and manage prototypes that support automation and improve drafting efficiency across teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading collaboration across departments to develop and maintain complex contract and booklet wording for multiple product lines (current and legacy product lines and the CADA block of business.)
  • Maintaining governance and decision-making over document drafting tools (e.g., ACE) and content libraries.
  • Participating in product development initiatives and representing document drafting staff in cross-functional teams.
  • Providing guidance and support to contract and booklet drafting teams and other business areas on complex drafting and interpretation.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders on non-standard provisions and legislative impacts.
  • Supporting high-visibility clients and projects including strategic initiatives.
  • Developing and maintaining support materials and documentation for knowledge sharing, compliance, legal, and historical purposes.

What you will bring:

  • 6–9 years of experience in document drafting, or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of group insurance products (life, accident, disability, health & dental).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including legal and plain language drafting.
  • Extensive experience with document systems (e.g., ACE, MS Word) and drafting procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage drafting projects and provide expert guidance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • LOMA/CEBS certifications are considered assets.
  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
  • Technical writing skills and experience with business cases, decision requests, and compliance documentation.

The base salary for this position is between $minimum - $ maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
