Job Description

The Sales Performance Strategy team manages the sales planning process which includes budgeting, forecasting, long term planning, sales colleague performance, revenue stream evaluation, pricing strategy to implementation, incremental revenue opportunities, quota setting, sales analysis, reporting and metrics. This team facilitates information dissemination across business lines, departments, and management levels. In addition, the team provides data on sales progress, risks and opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership in conjunction with Finance

Annual Budgeting:

  • Responsible for annual budgeting for revenue, ARR, volume and price.
  • Working together with Sales and Marketing to size initiatives (Pricing, capacity etc) which contribute to building the annual budgeting.
  • Building bottoms up models (marketing metrics, capacity etc) that provide key insights into budget assumptions





Forecasting:

  • Responsible for weekly revenue forecast in collaboration with Finance
  • Accountable for monthly rolling forecast via analyzing historic trends and aligning with sales leadership on key risks and opportunities vs budget/prior forecasts
  • Build bottoms up forecasting models including MQL/SQL/SQO forecasts and conversion rates to substantiate financial forecasts.





Strategy & Planning:

  • Identify key opportunities to help achieve financial targets via promotional analysis, sales org changes, compensation change recommendations etc.
  • Manage the long-term strategic plan for the medium segment in collaboration with sales and marketing





KPI Reporting:

  • Providing monthly KPI reporting to Finance including but not limited to volume, renewal rates, migrations and ASP
  • Maintaining and updated weekly scorecard for the medium segment including metrics from the top of the funnel to the bottom.





MBR Preparation:

  • Providing key insights for the monthly business reviews including explanations on monthly variances, trends and outlook
  • Validation of salesforce pipeline, win rates and marketing conversion rates





Salesforce Dashboards/Reports:

  • Building salesforce dashboards to provide key insights into pipeline, aging, win rates by rep
  • Ensuring sales leadership, reps and other stakeholders receive automated daily views and alerts to effectively manage the business.





Quota Setting & Attainment:

  • Providing monthly renewal quotas to reps and ensuring alignment to budget
  • Building annual/quarterly quotas for NCA reps and sales leadership
  • Providing sales rep and management visibility on their attainment daily.
  • Managing ad hoc attainment/quota adjustments in a timely manner





Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales operations experience.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel and report creation/generation.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
