WSP is inviting expressions of interest from experienced Process Engineers who are passionate about water treatment in mining and industrial sectors. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of wastewater treatment solutions in mining—driving environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term value for clients.

Your Impact

  • Lead water treatment projects as Project Manager or Engineer-of-Record, ensuring quality delivery on time and on budget
  • Design and analyze treatment processes including mass balance, hydraulic analysis, and technology selection
  • Collaborate across WSP’s water treatment and mining teams in Canada and North America
  • Develop client relationships and lead proposal efforts to win new work and grow our backlog
  • Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, sharing your expertise and shaping the next generation of talent


The Skills That Set You Apart

  • 15+ years of experience in consulting engineering with a focus on water treatment for mining and industrial applications
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in a Canadian province
  • Proven leadership in project delivery, business development, and client engagement
  • Skilled in process design tools such as HYSIM/HYSIS, OLI, or Wave
  • Experience in metallurgy and commissioning is an asset
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for fieldwork and client engagement

Compensation

Salary range (in British Columbia): $124,800 - $171,600

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
