Faculty/Department Library Unit Library Employee Group CUPE 5791 CUPE 5791 Job Family Operational Services Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary The primary responsibilities of this position will be to assist the Dr. John Archer Library and Archives in the area(s) of University Archives and collection processing
Areas of Responsibility and Typical Duties:
  • Archival collection preparation work for processing, including re-housing, scanning/copying, re-boxing and the creation of basic inventory lists;
  • Moving of boxes and material in and between storage spaces
Position Requirements
  • Candidate must be registered as a student in the Winter 2026 semester at the University of Regina
  • Excellent oral and written English language abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the Library and Archives’ clients
  • Experience in working with Windows operating system and ability to learn new software
  • Experience in working with MSOffice suite of products such as Word and Excel
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member
  • Previous experience working in a library or archives environment would be an asset
